Madison Snow of the #1 Paul Miller Racing team says winning the GTD championship title early at the Battle of the Bricks will help them “enjoy racing” at the Petit Le Mans season finale.

The team successfully defended their IMSA WeatherTech Sprint Cup title from last year, and have claimed the GTD title with one race remaining, following a record-breaking 2023 campaign.

Madison Snow and his teammate Bryan Sellers have claimed five GTD wins this year, most recently finishing third at Indianapolis after Snow put the #1 BMW M4 GT3 on pole ahead of both GTD classes.

Snow shared his thoughts on winning the title early with dominant form, in that will help them savour the racing at the grueling 10-hour season conclusion at Road Atlanta.

“It’s nice to wrap up the championship here at Indy,” he said.

“Petit Le Mans is a very, very long race, and it’s a lot of stress off our shoulders, knowing that at Petit, we can just enjoy racing.

“That’s due to all the hard work Paul Miller Racing put in going into this weekend knowing that if we perform the absolute best we did this weekend, we will be able to relax the next weekend. Indy has been awesome.”

Snow has been with Paul Miller Racing since the 2016 IMSA season in the GTD category, like his teammate Bryan Sellers. Together, they won their first 2018 GTD title in the Lamborghini Huracan GT3.

With Sellers, he won last year’s GTD Sprint Cup title and defended that crown last Sunday in the BMW M4 GT3, having also gained a second GTD championship title to the Paul Miller Racing name.

Last year, it was the #66 Gradient Racing Acura NSX GT3 EVO22 who found victory at Road Atlanta, with the highest finishing BMW as the #96 Turner Motorsport claiming third.

Paul Miller Racing finished fifth in class by comparison, and they will compete in the race on 14 October, with the #1’s endurance driver Corey Lewis assisting the two regulars.

Snow’s highest Petit Le Mans finish was in 2015 for Park Place Motorsports, claiming a GTD win in their Porsche 911 GT America with Patrick Lindsey and Spencer Pumpelly.
